This morning was held the organizational meeting of the Huaira Sinchi (The force of the wind), the highest adventure race of the world. People from 10 different countries are going to be in the race as competitors.
The teams already have their maps. The route is set, 300 km. of hiking, biking, paddling, rapelling, jumaring. The race will begin tomorrow at 6:00 am in the town of Mulaló in the base of Cotopaxi volcano and this very day the competitiors will reach the highest point of the race at almost 5000 meters, between Cotopaxi and Morurco mounts.
Barefoot Expeditions is providing neoprene suits and lifejackets for 3 teams, and will assist as support team, wich is not an easy task in a non-stop race like this one.
