“HUAIRA SINCHI” is the highest adventure race in the world. It is held in the wildest and most beautiful landscapes of Ecuador. The racers have to be tough because they will have to spend several hours over 12000 feet in the Ecuadorian Andes. 2007 edition of Huaira Sinchi will take place on november 1,2 & 3.

Teams from all over the world will come to Ecuador for this contest to enjoy the country’s diversity in a three day non-stop race that includes mountain biking, cross-country trekking, paddling, rope skills, orienteering and navigation.

Barefoot Expeditions is currently sponsoring with water sports gear and will help as support crew for a team composed by 4 experienced mountaineers and racers. On Wed. 31st, after the organizational meeting, we will have some more info about the route and our racers will plan their strategy.
