The Quijos river is a class 4 located in the eastern Ecuadorian Andes slopes. High volume water, tall waves and a jungle-like scenery makes the Quijos run a must-do!

Itinerary:

  • 7 am departure from Quito
  • 10 am arrive to the river, safety talk and some snacks
  • 11 am rafting starts
  • 2.30 pm rafting finishes, riverside lunch buffet
  • 6.30 pm arrive to Quito

Rafting trips includes:

  • Specialized rafting guides
  • Complete rafting gear
    • Raft, paddle, helmet, life jacket, spray jacket, neoprene suit
  • Private transportation from/to Quito
  • Riverside lunch snacks and beverages, and cold beers at the end of the trip.

What should you bring?

  • Small camera
  • Copy of your passport
  • Towel
  • River sandals
  • Quick drying shorts and shirt
  • Dry clothes to change after the rafting
