The Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre cords in Patagonia are amazing places for climbers. In the summer, climbers from all over the world spend a few weeks or months trying to climb one of the routes on those granite peaks. When I was there, I had the chance to meet people from Australia, Austria, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Venezuela, Colombia, USA, Belgium and Perú. And I only stayed there about 10 days!, My plan was to climb Guillaumet peak

The team composed by Nico Favresse (Belgium), Sean Villanueva (Belgium) and Ben Ditto (USA), reached the summit of the Paine Central Tower on Torres del Paine, Chile. This happened at the beginning of this month (February 2009) while I was there doing some mild hiking in comparisson.

Patagonia, a unique place, located in the southern hemisphere. It has isolated pamas, huge continental glaciers, wonderful granite walls, beautiful landscapes, a lot of options for outdoors activities (hiking, trekking, climbing, biking, fishing, rafting…). A must-go place for adventurers
