The Top Volcanoes in Ecuador

Submitted by on March 27, 2010 – 2:24 pmShare No Comment

Chimborazo: is the highest of them          (6,310 meters).

Cotopaxi: At 4.8 m in altitude, in the heart of the Andes and the equator, rises the highest active volcano in the world, Cotopaxi (5,898 meters). During the excursion, a variety of animals that live in the reserve will appear on the road, changing the color of the landscape as the day goes on.

Cotacachi: Another giant of more than 4000 m we recommend to you is the Cotacachi. The degree of difficulty is high but it recompenses, to those who reach the crater, with a relaxing boat trip on the waters of its lagoon Cuicocha.

The Ecuadorian Highlands will awake your senses and will bring you in contact with the most extreme of nature: the destructive force of the volcanoes, the freedom of a wild horse, the perseverance and patience of each plant.
