Wilderness First Aid courses in Ecuador: WFR, WAFA
I took my last Wilderness First Responder (WFR) course exactly one year ago. That was one of the most rewarding experiences ever. 19 of us were trained to respond in an emergency situation and, the most important, to make difficult medical and evacuation decisions in remote places.
It was very interesting to know how important is this level of instruction (WFR or WAFA) in countries as Ecuador, because, as our instructor would say, even a busy street in Quito (the capital of Ecuador), could be considered as a remote location because the medical assistance is not as fast as it would be in other places.
From the 17th to the 21st of april, 2008, MINGAI will organize the Wilderness Advanced First Aid course (WAFA) in Quito. If you are into the Outdoor activities, it is the best instruction of this kind that you can find in Ecuador, it is such a good chance to take it.

Great! As an ecuadorian I think this is a considerable effort to participate internationally and become better human beings!
